What is naturopathy?
Naturopathy takes a holistic approach to wellness and considers the impact of diet, lifestyle, environmental and emotional factors on your overall state of wellbeing. A naturopath seeks to identify the underlying causes of illness (rather than simply suppressing symptoms) and utilises the least invasive treatments to address your health concerns. This includes herbal medicine, nutritional supplementation, dietary and lifestyle changes.

How many visits are involved/ how long will it take to see results?
Depending on your current health status and presenting concern, the amount of time required to see results may vary. Generally, changes may be seen within the first few weeks to one month of treatment, though this will differ for each person.
What can I expect during my first consult?
An initial consult takes 1-1.5 hours and involves an in depth discussion of your health history, as well as your diet, lifestyle, stress and environmental exposures. Based on your symptoms and presenting concerns, further laboratory testing may also be requested if necessary. Following our consultation, I will create a personalised prescription for you that may include dietary changes, lifestyle recommendations, herbal medicine or nutritional supplementation. Learn more.
